Protect Me Beeswax Lip Balm is a formulation of key ingredients Propolis and Beeswax.

Propolis:

Propolis which is collected from the buds of conifers and other trees by honeybees consists of natural resinous compounds and balsams, beeswax, aromatic oils and bee pollen. Used since ancient times, Propolis has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties to kill viruses, bacteria and fungi. It also possesses local anesthetic, antiulcer and anti-inflammatory properties which help to lower blood pressure and stimulate the immune system.

Beeswax:

Beeswax is a natural and nourishing moisturiser that has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and germicidal antioxidant properties. It is an excellent emollient that provides non-occlusive skin protection. Beeswax has water repellent properties which allow it to sustain sunscreen action, lock in moisture and provide greater permanence on the skin or lip surfaces protecting the skin from damaging environmental factors.
